    Surf guide

Best swell: W, works SW to NW. Best wind: S, offshore. Best tide: around high tide, for the wedge. The wave: Beach break, and at high tide the Wedge: a short, punchy left that bounces off the cliff. Bottom: Sand. Suits: The Wedge is for experienced surfers and bodyboarders; easier away from it. Crowd: Very busy when the Wedge is on, mostly bodyboarders. Watch out for: The Wedge breaks hard and close to the cliff. Boards: Bodyboard or shortboard at the Wedge. On the beach: Beach bar, showers, surf school.

Rips. Nothing published for this beach, which is not the same as nothing there. Ask the lifeguards.no source found, September 2026
